LOW-PRESSURE SERIES TORCH BURNERS are made up of Lojectors, lever-handled gas cocks, AN Burner nozzles, mounting cages, pilots and blocks in cast iron holders, and assembled as required. They are designed for low pressure gas at normal city pressures. Because they depend mainly on draft for most of the combustion air required, their capacity can only be increased by increasing the draft through the burners. The Multiplier Table for Capacity Table No. 1 on Pages 4 & 5 of the PDF (lower left banner), shows how much gas can be burned at drafts other than 0.1'' W. C. To obtain the increased capacities, the gas orifice must be enlarged or, in some cases, removed altogether. Valves and lead-in pipes may also have to be enlarged.
