The 12A06 is vent limiting orifice or device used with Maxitrol regulators that do not release or relieve gas into the environment during normal operation. Vent limiters are designed for use indoors and in spaces where limiting the amount of gas escapement due to diaphragm failure is critical. Vent limiters should not be used outdoors if they are exposed to the environment. The 12A06 orifice hole is on side of body, under the head It is for use with the RV48, RV52, RV53, RV61, R400(S), R500(S), R600(S) regulators. It's a brass color and has 1/8" thread. Suitable for both Natural and LP gas.
